| The
Discipleship Walk is a three-day weekend designed to give believers an
opportunity to take a break from regular routines and experience the
love of God in a new and fresh way. It is the intention of the
Discipleship Walk to lead each person into a closer relationship with
Christ where they might become more intentional and mature in their
faith, so that each can make a difference for Christ in his or her own
world. Since its inception in 1989,
almost 3,000
adults and youth have attended a Discipleship Walk Weekend. The
experience is heavily patterned after the Walk to Emmaus, the Cursillo
Movement, the Great Banquet and other similar weekends across
denominational lines.
The
Discipleship Walk is a joint ministry between Radiant Christian Life in
Westfield, Indiana and Crossroads Church in Avon, Indiana. Believers
are invited to attend and to work team regardless of church affiliation.
