What is the Discipleship
Walk?
| The Discipleship
Walk is a three-day weekend designed to give believers an
opportunity to take a break from regular routines and experience the
love of God in a new and fresh way. It is the intention of the
Discipleship Walk to lead each person into a closer relationship
with Christ where they might become more intentional and mature in
their faith, so that each can make a difference for Christ in his or
her own world.
Since its inception in 1989, approximately 3,000 adults and youth have attended a Discipleship Walk Weekend. The experience is heavily patterned after the Walk to Emmaus, the Cursillo Movement, the Great Banquet and other similar weekends across denominational lines. This Discipleship Walk community is a joint ministry between Radiant Christian Life in Westfield, Indiana and Crossroads Church in Avon, Indiana. Believers are invited to attend and to work team regardless of church affiliation |
